Product description:
The Merrow 70-D3B-2 with Marine Layer (ML) coating is designed for fabric joining in demanding wet and caustic processing environments. The coating adds protection against rust and corrosion associated with moisture and caustic substances, making this configuration suited to processing bleached, mercerized, laminated, and treated fabrics.
Operating at a specified speed of 2,250 rpm, the machine produces a single-thread Type 501 seam with a 5/8-inch width. This configuration combines the 70-D3B-2 seaming platform with added surface protection for textile production environments where exposure to moisture and processing chemicals is a concern.
Key features:
- Marine Layer coating: Adds protection against rust and corrosion.
- Wet-environment configuration: Designed for demanding textile processing conditions.
- Single-thread operation: Produces the specified Type 501 seam.
- 5/8-inch seam width: Provides the specified fabric joining width.
- 2,250 rpm operating speed: Supports industrial seaming operations.
- Treated fabric applications: Suitable for the listed bleached, mercerized, laminated, and treated materials.
70-D3B-2 fitted with Marine Layer coating for added protection in extreme wet environments, defending against rust and corrosion from caustic substances.
