Product description:
The Merrow Heavy Overedge Sewing Machine provides a three-thread overedge finish on elastic knit fabric without using cutters. Designed for applications such as surgical hose, glove cuffs, and medical support garments, it finishes fabric edges without trimming them during sewing.
The machine produces a type 505 seam with a specified width of 3/16" to 1/4" and operates at 5,500 rpm. It can also be arranged to fold elastic inserts within the stitch, supporting applications that require elastic incorporation. This capability requires the appropriate setup.
